Hello Autumn

Autumn is hands down my favourite time of year. I love everything about it; the makeup, the fashion, and everything pumpkin spice (because I’m basic like that). Even though the weather is usually pretty crap this time of year (especially in Leeds), it’s just the perfect excuse for fluffy dressing gowns, hot drinks and watching Harry Potter for the billionth time. Or wrapping up in scarves that smother your whole face when you go outside, I love it!

Obviously it’s also the time of year where I end up wearing berry lipsticks almost every day, and this year is no exception. I have however added a few new favourite lipsticks into the mix that aren’t berry! Shocking! If I had to pick just one, which luckily I don’t, my current favourite is the Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Damned. Why didn’t I own this earlier?! The formula is one of the best, it doesn’t budge, but it isn’t too drying, I’m obsessed! Post coming soon on all of my current faves!

Anyone who knows me know’s I love nail polish, and OPI’s Autumn/Winter release for this year did not disappoint, and I think I’ve found a new all time favourite colour. I seem to circle back to Yank My Doodle (the name makes me laugh every time) every few times I pain my nails. It’s just so unique! I don’t own anything like it, and I own a lot of nail polish! It’s just the perfect, reddish-brown terracotta colour.

I know sometimes you can’t beat a good old cup of PG tips tea, as my dad would say if a money doesn’t drink it…  I’m also loving the Bluebird Tea Co Dark Choc Chilli Chai. I picked it up the last time I was in Brighton, on my birthday with my family. My mum and I picked up a few other flavours there too, it was a little bit overwhelming, but the girl that helped me was excellent. I’m also obsessed with this Peanut Hottie hot chocolate, it’s seriously tasty, like a liquid version of a Reeses Peanut Butter Cup!

I’m still as obsessed with my blue Topshop scarf this year as I was last year. It kept me perfectly warm on my way to and from work in the cold and windy Leeds weather. I’ve also seen this one from Accessorize and this onefrom Fat Face which are beautiful, a girl can never have too many scarves!

I’m sorry for waffling on so much in one post, who knew I had so much to say about autumn!
