My best friend and I had been meaning to make an order on the Sephora website for a while. We finally got round to it on Monday any by Friday our order had made it all the way from New Jersey to Leeds! Here’s a little look at what we picked up (spoiler alert: there’s a lot of Kat Von D).
Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper This eyeliner is THE best eyeliner I have ever tried! My old one died a slow slow death and towards the end I was praying that it would last long enough for me to do both eyes. We ended up ordering two because neither Hannah or I could live without it for much longer. If you have not tried this, you need to!
Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita and Bauhaus I love these liquid lipsticks, they’re some of my favourites. Hannah picked up Bauhaus which I already have and is a beautiful berry shade. I picked up Lolita, it was sold out in every Sephora I went into when we were in New York last Easter or I would have bought it then. This shade is a cult favourite for a good reason. It’s a beautiful pinkish brown, and makes a nice change to the more bold liquid lipsticks I own.
Kat Von D Shade and Light Quad in Rust This palette is what I wish the Naked Basics pallet was like. Don’t get me wrong I love Urban Decay but I will wear every one of the shades in this quad, but with my naked basics pallet I feel like a lot of them are going to waste. This is a warm eyeshadow lovers dream quad (insert heart-eyed emoji).
Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Soft Lilac This is the last thing I picked up. I love berry lipstick and this is the perfect spring/summer light berry/purple shade. I had this on as soon as I opened the box and the formula is amazing and not really drying at all! I wanted to pick up Pure Hollywood as well but unfortunately it was sold out when we came to make our order. I almost ordered the shade Dolce but it was difficult to tell from swatches online if it was going to be too peachy. You never know I might make another order in a couple months time and pick it up then.
When it comes to the details about actually making the order it was all really easy. Shipping is a £6 flat rate if you spend more then £70 on your order. Delivery was seriously quick! We placed the order at about 9pm on Bank Holiday Monday and it was delivered before lunch that Friday. The website said 5-11 days but ours arrived in only four and was delivered by DHL. The only thing that I found kind of annoying was that the tax was added on at the end and it didn’t tell me how much tax was on each item, but I mainly found that annoying because Hannah and I were splitting the bill so had to do maths.
