A few months ago I came across the L’Oreal Infallible Fixing Mist and the Maybelline Super Stay 24 Makeup Locking Setting Spray. I know L’Oreal have had a setting spray out in the States for a while now, but as far as I know these are the first ones available on the highstreet.
Urban Decay of course does some that are cult favourites, and I do like the Urban Decay De-Slick Setting Spray, but I do think these two are just as good and for a fraction of the price!
I’ve been using them both for a couple of months now, maybe longer, and they both make my makeup last longer, and stop it from breaking up throughout the day.
I do find them both to be a little bit drying, but my skin’s been pretty dry recently so that might just be me. Even though they’re a little drying, they don’t make my makeup or skin feel uncomfortable. They also help if I go a bit overboard on the setting powder. I definitely notice the difference when I don’t use them.
If you’re not sure the Urban Decay setting sprays are worth the hype, or if you’re a student or on a budget, I would definitely recommend picking either of these up to give a try.
