I fell in love with Nails Inc earlier this year. I was obsessed with their New White collection that came out in the spring and I’m pretty sure the three polishes I got were the only polishes I wore for at least two months straight!
This year’s Autumn/Winter collection in collaboration with Alice and Olivia. The collection is supposed to be a inspired by 1970s rock and roll with a dark bohemian twist, whatever that’s supposed to mean. It is a great collection with a mixture of dark, vampy colours, a beautiful nude and a gorgeous glitter, everything you’d want for autumn/winter capsule collection.
From this new collection I picked up the mini set of four polishes, and I have my eye on Rose and Poetry which to me looks like a mix between Essie Watermelon and Essie Bahama Mama.
The first polish in the mini set is Next To Nothing, a flattering peachy pink nude. It’s opaque and not streaky at all, and would make a great wedding nail colour.
Next is Ruby Night Sky, which is an extremely dark, burgundy wine colour. It’s definitely a beautiful autumn shade but because it’s so dark it can just look black in most lights. It is also pretty similar to Nails Inc Victoria which is a great shade but I personally prefer the formula of this new one.
The third shade in the set is Gold Goddess, a stunning antiqued gold glitter. I had this on this last week as an accent nail paired with It’s a Piazza Cake from the new OPI collection. You can see it here on my instagram, this combo literally screamed autumn to me, and I know I’m definitely going to be getting a lot of use out of it these next few months!
The final shade in the set is Paris Rouge which is a beautiful ruby red with a pearl finish. It’s a great Christmas shade and surprisingly I have nothing like it in my nail polish collection!
All of these polishes applied so beautifully and lasted really well on the nails, even the glitter lasted a full week with no chips at all! Unlike a lot of other mini polishes the brushes on these are actually good! They have the same wide brush as the full sized polishes which make application so much smoother and quicker.
This set is definitely worth getting, my favourites from it are Gold Goddess and Next To Nothing, and I think I may need to pick up Rose and Poetry some time soon too!
